Friendsgiving #243 is done. Like this year feels like everyone thinks that they're the only one throwing a friendsgiving party... Not complaining. Now just one more Thanksgiving dinner in Ladera Heights with these basketball freaks. I will drive straight back home. No more alcohol. I cannot. I spent way too much on food+drinks this week.

first time in Cali, first time in LA.
city is seriously hurt by the lack of transportation means.
gas expensive asf so no one wants to drive anywhere and the traffic (albeit not something i noticed in my travels) is horrid and so everyone is like so hesitant to make moves.
in n out was fire though and weather was aight. cool city for sure very scenic in some areas. need to like spend a full month and touch every corner of the city to truly know if i like the city or not.

I got my dose of Christmas vibes last week when I dropped of a package at the postal office. Everyone in line had some gift that they wanted to ship out. There was an old man trying to ship a box to the Philippines, an African family dropping something off everyone holding something, a college student with a tiny gift, an old white lady holding a dozen X-mas envelopes in her hands and then there was me with gifts for my siblings. It was so packed, 30 min before closing, already dark outside, but everybody was in such a good mood and I know it sounds cheesy but the Christmas spirit was really there in that place, like we were all Santa in some way.

Ok until I went back to the parking lot and almost got ran over by a minivan but that's just SoCal for you. I hope everyone here has a happy holidays especially all the new Californians s/o to @SBMike, @norolemodelz, anyone I forgot. We marinating this weekend.

I’m from MD. From what I’ve read we say water and the name of our own state wrong.

We say wurter and Merlyn. Basically we don’t enunciate words completely. I had to look it up on Google cause I was appalled someone said I don’t say water right.
