You can't put the genie back in the bottle
You can always just train it with whatever material you want but i can see a future where company hosted AIs cant use copyrighted material

No one gives a f*** about your copyright.
But this is gonna be made into a big deal because the people paying the politicians to make laws aren't going to be happy with the implications.

Im sure you can look up "midjourney Magic cards controversy" iirc, them niggas got legit databases to clock people with and Magic is the card game of Disney or Nintendo they do not f*** around they literally have sent privatized hired military to a dudes house just for leaking a cardbox he got a hold of early before retail date
The way midjourney was found out specifically with Magic was because Magic is one of the few card games that give legit credit in name every time to the artists that made the card artwork, so midjourney has a datalog (which someone hacked into iirc) of artists by name its ripped off and uses, so basically every Magic card artist name is listed in there as well from their mid 90s prototype stage to today lmao and thats one of the things I think that set off this snowball and showing they infact do use direct copyrighted material while monetizing subscriptions 💀
