1) Southern Black soul food

Yall hvnt lived until you've had baked mac n cheese made by a black aunty or a spinach casserole my fam is west african so we usually include a tray of smoky, tomato-y jellof rice aswell s*** is like old continent black food mixed with new continent black food

2) lebanese food

Probably the flavors that personally im most endeared/inclined to. I love herbs, garlic and olive oil so much. I cook with them s***s as often as i can and obviously middle eastern food is king of that but lebanese in particular is just miles ahead of every other countries food in that region

Warm pita with tzatiki sauce all sorts of marinated meats and yogurt based sauces sure other cultures like india, turkey and greece cook with those ingredients but the lebanese are goat at it and their women are thick

3) Westernized Italian Food

Basically the kind of italian food you find my italian immigrants descendants in places like US, canada, Australia etc

This one is self explanatory

Pasta and cheese has to be literally the best food combo ever invented by humans. Also as someone that likes garlic, olive oil and s*** like that im happy italian food retains some of those common Mediterranean ingredients but sometimes it gets a lil vanilla spice wise so when i want something hotter or more garlicky i opt for lebanese

But overall immigrant italian food is GOATED and a classic
