i understand why he left hiphopdx but man career/platofrm-wise he really blew it with doing that so early into his popularity and then immediatedly going on a hiatus for so long with similar content. feels like he way overestimated how much of the hhdx audience would follow him to being independent, which is rough because hhdx isn't even that popular to begin with. sucks because the dude is super knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the genre
he should join dehh actually or create a new show from scratch with someone younger than him. that radio show he had with that ginger dude was atrocious
Man 106 and park in the early 2000s really shaped me as a kid I would say they should bring it back but it won’t be the same.
I feel like all these platforms have hidden agendas that they push onto ppl and it feels ingenuine whether favoring one artist over another artist that’s where they lose me none of them feel authentic.
This thread is Coli propaganda
I don't know enough about the Coli to confidently add to OP, I get the feeling that they're Boxden-tier though.
DEHH is actually much better than it was before. And they have brought on younger people onto the platform to correct the main hosts. Also they have definitely lightened up as years have gone by.

yeah he really lost his way immediatedly after leaving hhdx. i don't know if he like lost the rights to do "breakdown" videos contractually or something for a few years until a contract expired or something, but his content immediatedly after leaving hhdx was like completely lost and immediatedly alienated anyone following him over. plus he then afterwards went on a massive hiatus (i think like 1-2 years?) and then came back with even more terrible content before finally pivoting back more recently to why people liked him to begin with. i agree if had just joined like DEHH and did a weekly show there or something he'd be way more successful esp since they have like the same audience

Nah them niggas funny
best YT channels are the ones with old ass musicians talking into their phone with fire music collection behind them
shouts dereckvon and Andy Edwards
Charlamagne didnt admit to that lmao
He admitted to being involved to some extent, while the actual woman has come out saying that he did.

how'd u like murs as a host for hhdx? I really really tried to like him but just couldn't. he had moments but I quickly moved on from both him and whatever hunte was doing (prob that radio show still)
are the artists set to this same standard too @op cause they're much worse

that was like when i stopped following them basically. it was a weird decision from the channel and didn't make a lot of sense. felt weirdly desperate and even on murs' part lacked a lot of self awareness as it really made him seem like washed up and doing it because he had nothing else to do. him continually inserting his own career into discussions was insane levels of cringe

They should be. Uzi beat a pregnant woman

Okay so basically you’re lying by misrepresenting the facts.
He admitted to buying Spanish Fly, it was proven by the courts he never had s***with the girl but he was involved in the situation.

Nah the Spanish fly situation was different
(I do not cosign Derrick Jaxn)
He said he just gave the underage girl alcohol.
T Pain has a podcast?
He gotta whole lil network now I believe. Does gaming streams and I think has a racing joint too?

Good for him. Lowkey used to be one of my favorite artists/producers
The elders/OGs in the industry of black media that are supposed to past the torch are too busy clinging to the crumbs and semblance of relevancy that they have left of a dying platform to see that there are legit young voices that are both respectful and at the same time knowledgable about what is going on within the youth that deserve to have a platform (e.g. Justice of LVRN, @YoungNastyShawty, hell I'd love to hear a Vince Staples platform that one pod with him and Styles and Joey he really showed how vast of knowledge he has about music in general tbh.)
F***ing jerks.
