With the recent video breaking down 6:16 and everyone being so impressed by it even though most of the breakdown didn’t need much explaining shows how numb this generations brain has become if they needed a breakdown to understand most of this

I feel Cudi had a better chance of being dope spitter in his early days than he is now, because he wrote a lot of his stuff and went Off Da Dome in freestyles

But I remember in a Joe Rogan podcast, he used to do freestyle a lot of his lyrics around AKNC to MOTM2 days

Then afterwards, he transition to more traditional songwriting with WZRD and onward.

That's why I f*** with Mr Morale, because Kendrick pulled off the more emotional s*** with good amount of bars.
