Man f*** this s***.
Here we go on our classic end of season meaningless run to put ourselves out of position to get a good lotto pick :bye:
Stewart truly is the anti Drummond and I love it
He’s a few inches shorter than Andre, has no where near close to the same vertical leaping ability or overall athleticism as Andre, BUT what he does have is extreme effort on every possession (Andre doesn’t have at all), basketball IQ (Andre has very low Ball IQ), and inherent leadership and ability to forget the last possession and play hard the next possession.
Also my dream scenario in the draft would be getting Mobley to pair him with Stewart in the front court

But they both centers
But they both centers
Only technically.
Not saying this sarcastically, but have you seen Mobley play much? Dude is better at defending on the perimeter than a lot of Small Forwards in the NBA, much less Power Forwards. So he can easily play the 4 on defense. And then offensively he’s already a very talented shooter for a center, and with more time and practice he can become an elite threat shooting the ball from the perimeter, so I see no reason why he’s not able to play the 4 offensively either.

Nah you're good
I need to see more of him and I know he has a lot of talent on both ends when it comes to the perimeter but I'm just wary of teams investing heavy resources (like a high lottery pick) in players that seem destined to be best at the 5 spot

I would probably still pick Cade over him, because I agree with you that ball handlers are more valuable when they’re elite, but no one after Mobley is anywhere near as good as him. He’s like a combo of Bosh and AD and maybe like Giannis or someone that has elite lateral quickness for their size

Oh word
If he really got that potential/those are his comps then yeah him going high is no problem at all
Like what the Pistons doing right now, hope they do this rebuild right cool to see that you always got an eye on em
I may truly have reached my breaking point of being a Pistons fan if we f*** this up AGAIN, and draft after the 5th pick.
I may truly just focus on fantasy basketball and UCLA basketball.
I swear, I can not do another decade of this mediocrity s***, I'll lose my f***ing mind

How exactly did you become a Piston fan and a UCLA fan
How exactly did you become a Piston fan and a UCLA fan
I went to UCLA.
And I just became a Pistons fan cause I liked their style of play and overall mentality when I started really getting into basketball in middle school (2005) and I just stuck with them ever since

So my dad was a Pistons fan he grew up in Detroit. And when I started getting into basketball was at the same time, and I became a Laker fan because I just wanted to root against my dad and the Pistons
Been a Laker fan ever since.
Yours is somewhat the opposite of me because i'm a Michigan State fan and a Lakers fan.

If Michigan State didn't blow a double digit halftime lead that would have been us in the final four

I know that Killian has had a lot of s*** talked on him all season because of his horrible shooting/scoring. But I want to say that I'm still optimistic about his game and drafting him at #7.
For as poor as his shooting/scoring has been, it's not as if it isn't redeemable. He doesn't have some weird shooting technique (like Lonzo did for example), he just needs reps shooting 3's to get his consistency and confidence to where it needs to be. Same thing with his floaters and mid-range -- those can come off stiff at times, but I think with more reps he has the potential to get his confidence up there.
Now those are the bad things, as far as the good things, there's a lot. He has ELITE playmaking/passing ability and he's only 19 years old. You can't teach that stuff. I feel like almost every time we have the ball on offense I see him make at least 1 really great decision/pass. His instincts as a point guard are amazing.
On defense he has a plus Defensive Win Share, and it is very visible watching him. He uses his length very well, has great tenacity, and above average athleticism/quickness to keep up with any PG in the league.
I think his ceiling is prime Dragic, IF he can improve his shooting/scoring. Obviously if he doesn't improve it though, he would only be like a poor man's Ricky Rubio.
We finally completed a tank correctly
Now please gimme Cade, Mobley, or Green. I'll even take Suggs (would like him more if we didn't already have Killian).
