According to the Torah he incites people to senselessness and shamelessness with music and takes advantage of the less knowledgeable and weak intelligence with music
Today we know that characteristic trait of Satan by the name of the Greco-Roman god Pan.
Lucifer is not the bad guy you're referring to by the way
How else would singing about frivolous topics make one concerned without a monstrous machine built upon your exploitation and suffering for the sake of money behind it

Because songs have been around since the beginning of time
Oh yes, but the Greeks singing about merriment and d**** was met with far less vitriolic attitude than rn where people run to find the devil in things they don’t like

Elvis was considered the "Devil's music" at one point ffs.
I’m just saying to put people accountable you need to stop listening to it everyday to break that trance or else you’ll be unable to act on you convictions or rectify
Nah i disagree
Most people arent listening to music that is literally just about striaght up murder etc, people are listening to something that has more going on, and as a story
Of course there are a small set of weirdoes that enjoy striaght up vile s*** like extreme horrorcore rap n whatever, but as i said its very small
Most people arent listening to music taking in tbe words super literallly either, they either use it to fit a mood or to relate to something in there life. Ie, a song that seems violent, you listen to cuz youre angry, or maybe you relate it to a point in your life where you were in a fight etc.
I disagree & especially with how convos like this usually boil it down to extreme surface level acting like their isnt any nuance or more to it

Capitalism is natrual and just , a fair exchange of services and goods, but also there should be market regulations, countenance for the less fortunate, the state should support its people , but capitalism isn’t a specter
The type of music you listen to effects your brain waves it effects the way you think and your output

We do, they're the named under the first Egyptian Pharaoh's. Their stories are told with the Egyptian deity system. Their stories have been retold over and over again thru following cultures. The 'Holidays', songs etc. It's all there.
I’m just saying to put people accountable you need to stop listening to it everyday to break that trance or else you’ll be unable to act on you convictions or rectify
Households and mental illness play a bigger role in that than music though.
If people were raised right or did more treatment/therapy for their mental health, music wouldn't even be much of a real factor in influencing you.
It's the same mistake people make when talking about boycotting FPS video games or Family Guy thinking it'll make the world a better place.
