HBCU's aren't segregation because they don't have some official racial policy or mandated separation lol. What are you even trying to say.

Racial Segregation always has a state actor or some equivalent making mandates. HBCU's don't make mandates on no whites. White people can go if they went. They choose to not. And the white people that do attend HBCUs tend to be hella popular and included in on campus culture. There was a former veteran that attended TSU and was adored on campus lol

what black people did is create institutions in their community cuz they weren't legally allowed in white institutions

culturally a rift exists due to the segregation created and enforced by white lawmakers/politicians/citizens (the klan for example) - that cultural rift is why we have black american music for one (they weren't allowed to go to white churches or music schools so they mostly sang at black chruches and their environnement/conditions spawned most of what we consider to be modern music)

It's so much that we have contributed to this damn country in spite of all the hatred had for us lol

Anytime you want we can have a 1 to 1 conversation on this, I think this isn’t the best setting for us to discuss this, maybe my thought provoking question was too much for this specific thread, and I should’ve made my own thread but theres alot going on here.

Nah I never had a issue w it. I understand where ur coming from when you say that.

Like we’re all black in America but within that there’s different experiences. A nigga who grows up in a black neighborhood has a wildly different outlook on s*** than a kid who grew up amongst mostly whites with a few black people sprinkled in here and there

    Read the definition again please,

    • the action or state of setting someone or something apart from other people or things or being set apart.
"the segregation of pupils with learning difficulties

Many words are seen as being “negative words” and segregation doesnt have to be negative. If you segregate the students with a learning ability that could help those students learn at their own pace in a class that caters to their strengths and weaknesses.
