Think this narrative that black people "only" have slave n gang movies is such an old trend n played out argument tho.

YOU only pay attention to that maybe, there are plenty of black movies since late 2000s or at least early 2010s (even in the 90s we had a decent amount but not as much) that hit many spectrums n perspectives.

Get out of that old sterepotype of black cinema, that was also made up by white people.
