A solar eclipse will cause the end of the world?
No.
Every empire has a rise and fall. It would be ignorant and arrogant to think the US empire is going to be around forever. This thread is simply putting forward the theory that we are witnessing the fall of the said world superpower.
The solar eclipse is an interesting coincidence that according to scientists defies laws of averages.
Some more interesting facts to ponder on...
The point at the center of the X where the total eclipse will have been visible for the longest on both occasion is Cedar Lake in Jackson County, just south of Carbondale, Illinois. In a spot also known as Little Egypt.
Egypt being another great ancient civilization that saw it's demise.

Now just 7 years after the August 2017 total solar eclipse there is another one. April 8th 2024. This one travelling perpendicular to the previous one and forming an X across America.
