Can we actually pinpoint why the Unit fell off?
Was it all about 50 losing relevance musically or is it too easy to blame the Boss.
Was it the beef with Game?
Was it Banks being lazy?
Buck being confused?
Yayo being....Yayo?
Olivia's nose?
Did they try to do too much as a label? Did they expand too quickly? Or was it a case of too much beef?
Did Hot Rod ruin the Unit? Or was it SMS Audio that sealed their fate at Interscope?
Idk. You tell me.
Cuz he fell off
Makes no sense but if that's what you're going with.....

Lmao you don't think 50 fell off???
Lmao you don't think 50 fell off???
But what does that have to do with his artists?
Banks and Buck should still be relevant. They never technically fell off.
They just fell out with 50.
Yayo too.
Beef with the Game + 50 falling off. Losing to Ye hurt 50’s aura and the genre moved past him.
Super groups not the wave nobody wants to hear the same 4 rappers uninspiredly rapping on 10+ tracks. S***s just too forced.
A handful of things.
Game obliterated them with the mixtapes and DVDs
50 signing too many artists and obscuring what G Unit really was
Other members besides 50 releasing mid
Gangsta rap becoming less relevant around 2007 with Kanye Graduation etc

Griselda's track record says different and they're not half as charismatic or dynamic as the OG Unit.
Theres still a lane for a supergroup.
Ngl as a young child of maybe 8 years old, I heard 100 bars and didn’t listen to another gunit song for probably 6 or 7 years. I know game is quite possibly the most foolish rapper to ever exist but we must give him his flowers and admit that he played a huge roll in the fall of the unit

S*** would be way different if 50 never kicked Game out the whip, that's a fact
50 would be considered a goat if he could make an album as good as grodt right after but he couldnt
Blame Game lol he destroyed them, except 50 obviously, but he can't rap anymore anyway.

Massacre was really good.
It's still kinda underrated even after going Diamond

Game had never matched the success he had with the Unit.
He killed his self if that's your take.
