As far as I know, he could be referring to killing niggas on features? He might even want to beef on some let's just make tracks showcasing skills back and forth without adding any slander. There's all sorts of ways to explore beef that don't include slander.

ChopItUpwait, Tru Dat exposed Cole in that Birthday Blizzard thread before The Fall Off drop, He said Cole was dissing him on Poor Thangs before it was released. Tru Dat even said they would try to say it was 910 space and Tank and that would be debunk, and Tru Dat said the SchoolBoy Q narrative was false way before Jcole admitted it.
