Hope not. That's too easy. Doom's always on a mission to heal his face, but i think Franklin being able to that quickly defeats the purpose. There's a deeper layer behind why he has the scars that has to be explored thoroughly

Would be an odd move considering they're adapting Secret Wars too. Both 1984 and 2015 Secret Wars overlapped with Doom wanting to heal the scars

I don’t see a reason for doom to attack the f4 on their earth. Unless there’s an imminent incursion and they disagree on how to handle it. The disagreement causes too much of a delay and they have to leave. I think doom was testing his powers. He knows he needs a battery for Battleworld and it’s either Franklin or Loki. Probably will be Franklin.

I don’t think it’ll be the complete parallel Mcguffin structure like IW had.

silver surfer can glide at the speed of light but can't come back and nab that baby fast as f*** when he was set down in the center of the city? why did galactus even have to come down? He could have just been like "go get it" and she would have been able to because it's not like any of the four were gonna be fast enough.

Wasn't explicit until she came out of nowhere and pushed Galactus' s*** in. If there was a change of heart, it would have to have happened off screen. Because the last we saw of her, she was still on the "just give up the child" train.

If she wasn't on that wave after talking to Johnny, I would have loved to see that confrontation with Galactus, but it was probably a victim of the significant portions of this movie that were cut in the editing room.

It feels hackneyed to keep comparing the two movies, but Superman's pocket dimension second act set piece vs F4's blackhole second act set piece...no competition

I feel like he wouldn't even do this in the first place because he would have seen that as possibility. Especially considering his speech earlier about how he thinks of the worst that could happen and plans to prevent it. Like they know there is a super fast silver lady lurking out there who has already tried to kidnap your child twice. They don't know if she had a change of heart or anything. For all they knew, she could be coming down to yoink Franklin without Galactus even moving an inch. I was waiting for Reed to be like "Okay Johnny, watch out for the Silver Surfer, keep her away from Franklin. Let's force him down here."
