not sure about dragon age yet, but my initial reaction is very positive, idk if the divisive nature of the online reaction will effect how it’s received by game awards… their awards process is pretty weird.

It’s very possible it will be nominated but in terms of winning idk, you don’t have to play all the nominated games, so a lot of game awards voters might be in the category of people that got turned off of the game by discourse or online hate and so they never tried the game

I agree about STALKER 2 but I have a feeling it’ll be a more of a cult classic, the gameplay is a bit more hardcore and I feel like general audiences will overlook it. I’m a huge fan of the series though and it could be my personal GOTY

Persona 6 | lots of rumors been stirring. But also, Atlus has no major games announced for next year yet. Theyve milked P5 enough. And Metaphor press run about over
(Also something that hasnt been reported heavy is that Persona 6 Japanese site no longer gives use ‘unavailable’. Gives a 404, meaning its probably been worked on. Same thing happened for P3R before the Game Fest announcement)

Sonic | almost guranteed at these shows at this point. Plus Sega been giving us a game every year now

Final Fantasy 9 Remake| least confident of the 3 here. But its the industry’s worst kept secret. Dquare literally has nothing on the table for FF right now. FF7R3 and FF17 are still years off. 2025 is the perfect year for FF9 remake to finally drop

Silksong | leakers been confident the past couple weeks + it was rated earlier this year. It just has to be announced soon

If it shows up anywhere it'll be at Atlus Persona concert. That's where they do all their major Persona announcements

They announced Persona 3 Reload, Persona Tactica, and Metaphor at Summer Games Fest in 2023.
So them announcing a new Persona game at a Keighley event isnt unheard of, and that broke the rule that it must happen at a Persona concert.

Also basing this off of the talk that SEGA wants Persona, Sonic, and Yakuza to be annual releases now(Persona would include spinoffs).

Which would mean that its likely that next year we’ll get some sort of Persona release. Which means they would have to announce it fairly soon
