I just don't attribute what he did as a musician to be 'Revolutionary' in the way that it was initially phrased. Pac gets called a revolutionary and is pitted as this rapper who was 'down for the cause' type of activist and he simply wasn't that.
When I think of revolutionary black activist I think of guys who were marching for the betterment of niggas, living that s*** fully, not a 25 year old who was pressing the set. That's not a black revolutionary to me. He literally died because he beat up another nigga over some dumb s***. That's a black activist to you? That's the spirit of a revolutionary to you?

I get what you mean but would folks still fw youngboy if he rapped about going to school or doing taxes? People don't wanna hear relatable music for the most part. They like to hear that wild lifestyle they know they can't relate to. The emotion in the music is apart of it too. I'd consider old drake "relatable music" for the masses.
