No they announced la la land won somehow and then were like wait we messed up moonlig it won

nah I know moonlight won. I am just saying it didn't deserve to win. My point is La La Land was a better choice considering it was way more accepted by general audiences and just as critically lauded. I still wouldn't say it was the best film that year, but definitely more deserving than moonlight.

tbh I woulda gone with Manchester By The Sea over those 2. And Silence, Your Name, Certain Women, Shin Godzilla were better than any film nominated.
