He tried to move into an executive role and couldn’t pull it off unfortunately with Saigon, XV and Jay E all tanking or disappearing and that slowed his roll a lot. I remember a lot of fans blamed their downfall on him. Lord Knows by Drake was his last hurrah in the mainstream and I think he’s okay with that, I can’t recall any attempts of him trying to keep up with a post-lex Luger landscape
Ohhhh he was part of XV going nowhere damn I thought it was No Id. But yeah Lord Knows is amazing and every beat I’ve heard from him I’ve really liked guess he’s just content now

I’m gonna need to see a real break down on this tbh because just blaze reminds me of questlove, they’re both great artists and real hip hop heads but they have crazy egos and tend to over inflate their own artistry. Just is probably counting the drum sounds for that 96 tally idk

That’s interesting because the number 96 was so specific too lol
The song cry loop is like 16 bars if I remember right, and it would seem like it’s on average about 1 chop per bar
