His argument's aren't making any sense.
Wayne fulfilled his contract in 2012 and decided to re-sign for 4 more albums. He COULD have left.
Drake fulfilled his with Scorpion, and decided to dip. ( I think Drake re-signed too at some point tho because we thought he was done after IYRTITL/Views)
I don't see how he needed some powerful elite to "help him get out of that contract".

They literally talked about this exact thing like 2-3 episodes back. I forgot which person it was about, maybe Lupe when he was trying to leave Atlantic. But Joe was like a once a label sees you’re one album away from you obligations they start throwing a whole lot of s*** at you, one being not letting you release your album.
