The main appeal of the deal for Joe, which he’s said numerous times, was the A***YTICS. Tidal, Revolt, and where ever else had bigger offers than Spotify, but none of them allowed Joe n em to see the stats. With JBP being able to gauge their stats, they can correctly determine their value.

I think the common denominator might be closer to black artists getting the short stick throughout the industry. Joe has just always been a voice against it.

na you right but ain't gon lie I'm finding it very hard to believe everything Joe said. Spotify in no position to ask for Rory, Mal, Parks, or Savon's likeness. They probably wanted some of the tour profit and maybe some merch. Cool might be much but the deal might have included huge promo and added incentives. All we know is Joe's side of this which for the most part is pretty unreliable
