Mal & Rory are not Joe. They probably happy at whatever Spotify gives them. Not like they could make that alone (in my opinion/podcast wise)

What I got from all this is that spotify is basically just in the business of buying out podcasts and mistreated joe and them cause they weren't on that type of time. Rogan made a mistake giving them more market share like that

The show topics is mainly current events and outside of some moments you’d might want to go back and re-listen to (adidon drops or back to back drop) I think the majority aren’t worth listening to. I like the pod a lot and have listened for years without missing a pod.

They probably wanted some of the tour profit and maybe some merch. Cool might be much but the deal might have included huge promo and added incentives. All we know is Joe's side of this which for the most part is pretty unreliable
If they were asking for a piece of Joe’s Pull Up money, as a “silent partner clause” what makes you think they wouldn’t want a hand in Mal and Rory’s pockets?

Keeping an IP is more than just residuals for whole episodes. It’s everything from merch to branding rights and on and on
