Remember when Joe blew up on Yaughty because Yaughty didn’t even know if he was in a 360 deal or not
for what its worth they aren't in a 360 deal. The deal they just got offered was more like a 360
I just want to hear what Mal and Rory have to say at this point
they aint gonna bite the hand that feeds them
lol rory was thanking Joe before the rant began
I just want to hear what Mal and Rory have to say at this point
yeah we heard joe talk for like 2 hrs on the subject

joe lowkey brainwashed them. Joe Budden to evolve into cult leader?? i see it already
yeah we heard joe talk for like 2 hrs on the subject
Let’s keep it 100
Mal & Rory are not Joe. They probably happy at whatever Spotify gives them. Not like they could make that alone (in my opinion/podcast wise)
So it’s more of a Joe thing anyways.
What I got from all this is that spotify is basically just in the business of buying out podcasts and mistreated joe and them cause they weren't on that type of time. Rogan made a mistake giving them more market share like that

of course joe's gonna be the most invested in it and the contract and how it's represented. It's the joe budden podcast.

Spotify was looking at it like just acquiring another asset and not as a partnership, which is seemingly where they have Joe f***ed up
Keeping ownership of an ip I feel like where majority of old episode you don’t want to go back and listen to seems unnecessary to me. Maybe I’m wrong.

Obviously bro lol

If you don’t want to listen to old podcast episodes, then it’s not a good podcast

I’d imagine they were paying him like they were paying musicians

The show topics is mainly current events and outside of some moments you’d might want to go back and re-listen to (adidon drops or back to back drop) I think the majority aren’t worth listening to. I like the pod a lot and have listened for years without missing a pod.

Compilation videos are fire if you don’t like rewatching full episodes
Did Rory and his girl break up? He been sayin some reckless s*** and a few things under the radar

Yeah I’ve watched a lot of those he should make them into podcasts too tbh
I’d imagine they were paying him like they were paying musicians
Spotify pays musicians?when did they start doing that
na you right but ain't gon lie I'm finding it very hard to believe everything Joe said. Spotify in no position to ask for Rory, Mal, Parks, or Savon's likeness. They probably wanted some of the tour profit and maybe some merch. Cool might be much but the deal might have included huge promo and added incentives. All we know is Joe's side of this which for the most part is pretty unreliable
If they were asking for a piece of Joe’s Pull Up money, as a “silent partner clause” what makes you think they wouldn’t want a hand in Mal and Rory’s pockets?
Yeah, soon as this album drop I'm out of the deal
In the house playin' D'Angelo, "How Does It Feel"

He literally said 20K people went and listed to the very first episode last week alone. So there is money to be made on all of it lol.

That number alone doesn’t really tell us much

Keeping an IP is more than just residuals for whole episodes. It’s everything from merch to branding rights and on and on

Also this was a lil posturing on Joe’s part because I’m sure the first episode is much much higher than the vast majority of episodes 2-372 lol

I understand being skeptical of Joe but these big time corporations deserve the same type of scrutiny too. It doesn’t surprise me at all that they’d try to make the argument that the podcast has boosted the other 3’s persona and worth to the point where they’d ask for a %
