i could see why he would do that but it’s very misleading and actually kinda squanders the potential of the album. like the album would be way bigger if they were forthright about the fact that it’s a collab album. it’s not even like jay is on most of the tracks. he’s on 8 out of 10. all but an intro with no rapping, and an interlude that’s only one verse, so you could really say jay z is on all the songs

because the sample sounded trash lmao. i get it because it just sounded like a bad song, but i wasn’t coming into jay elecs album with high expectations. especially considering that he produced a lot of it himself. but truthfully it was actually much better than i expected for the most part.

i can’t even be mad at joe for cracking on that twitter clip because this is how jay chose to promote his album lmao. the promotion of this album has been wrong. framing it as a solo album is wrong and choosing that clip is wrong if you expect that to be what hyped people up

Im a huge fan of Joe's music and have been following him since Pump It Up.

Joe has a lot of obvious flaws though that shows when his attempts to act like he doesn't care about certain people doesn't match how he talks about them, even considering his claim of exaggerating his tone.

I think it is fair to talk about those things when they surface.

I believe he doesn't care about Kanye and always gets dragged into talking about him anyways
