I think the album is amazing but I’m not even mad at em. No one should have been expecting bangers tho. Going into Jay Elects album expecting “bangers” is like having kids and expecting to never change a diaper, prepare to be disappointed fam.

Probably my only real critique of the content. There isn't a triumphant classic standout track.

But imo that's what you miss not collaborating with people like Kanye. He may miss the mark on the album at times but he's going to give you that track no matter what. All Jay Elect and Hov needed was one.

Its funny caus it all comes full circle. Ak always acting like these yoing rappers supposed to know the deals tge sign and what to expect bwhen they get in the industry. But Ak clueless as well. And Joe aleays talking about the labels/distributors and whoever came before always taking advantage of the little guy just for him to do it himself.

All they do is argue like a bunch of old b****es, then play R&B at the end. Joe and Crew be so uninformed and don’t even give newer rappers the time of day (ex: The Lil Uzi takes). We need this but a younger version. Also F*** Joe Budden for sayin Kanye last 4 projects were trash

The thing about the Jay elec album is that I can’t see myself just playing it or throwing it on. It has no replay value for me. But it is not bad either.

It was just good moment for him.

But he did get outshined and it is not amazing music.
