i don't think thats true, which is why lawyers are involved. I think Joe f***ed up b/c if he fired Rory then that means his contract is terminated right then and there. There would be no need for Rory to fulfill that contract anymore.

I don't like how Joe handled this but he made some solid points

if your cohosts...friends or not...are talking behind your back with the other staff members that work on the podcast asking about money s*** and all that when they've never been asked to handle the intricate business handlings like the ad deals and s*** Joe mentioned...just show up two days a week and talk for a couple hours...and now they wanna look at the books and essentially wanting more money after they've already agreed to a contract that isn't up for another year...I like Rory and Mal but I started listening to the JBP for Joe...when he was gone for an episode or 2 it was not as good...when Rory and Mal are gone it's not as good but also not unlistenable especailly with Ish and Ice getting the hang of it and all that...just my 2 cents again Joe sounded wild on the pod today and I don't agree with how he said a lot of what he said but a lot of the points he made I have to agree with...also can understand why they may not feel respected though

It sounds reasonable, but the way Joe tells things, rarely are ever what is actually what went down. So I maintain a healthy level of skepticism with anything he says.
