eclassYes this sounds like a reasonable argument, but you gotta realize this is Joe's perspective.
Mal, and Rory been riding for Joe during all the Domestic abuse allegations, d*** addiction etc. and never once left Joe even though they're character is at risk for even being associated with him. If Joe has nothing to hide, then why not show where all the expenses are going?
they were bringing up respect a few weeks ago...maybe he feels it's disrespectful for them not to trust him when he feels he's done a good job taking care of them (he did mention everyone got raises recently)

Joe did mention "this is Parks house...where we're allowed to record" which to me implies that Rory and Mal may not have liked Parks getting so heavily involved in the actual show the last year or two and Joe takes offense because Parks is allowing them to record there in the first place...always got a vibe that Rory didn't get along with Parks really and didn't like him becoming the "4th member" of the pod officially when he did...him and Mal seemed annoyed a lot with his input
