It only happened 6 months ago and if they were pressed about joe being friends with ak in private it probably got to a point where he couldnt take it (combined with the money s*** is how you get to rory thinking hes the boss)
If you think literally any other company in any other industry would let you pull s*** like that on ur boss and his friends ur wrong
1.They were all friends (Joe. Mal. Rory.) And because of that dynamic it is not even remotely the same.
2. Labels and artists have done worse for marketing ploys and came out fine. And even when the artist fails, the label can still prevail by writing it off for tax purposes. In fact... They do s*** like that on purpose routinely. And again, Joe was still cordial with Rory even with the ongoing s***.
