HumbleNiggas is delusional to think the podcast couldn’t work without Rory and Mal.
Joe can make the podcast work with ANYONE as long as the chemistry is there.
We not saying that, you really think the JBP would be as successful if it weren’t for the Rory mal and Joe dynamic ?

Joe looks at the podcast and Joe Budden TV/Network as one giant operation. I’ll Name This Podcast Later was a culmination of Joe Budden TV.
It was based off “his lifes work”, so when Rory and Mal say they helped build it, Joe looks at it from a different lens. Its based on “Me”.
Just makes everything on his end even more duplicitous.

Nah the podcast blew up because of Joe's viral antics on every day struggle, dude generated a ridiculous amount of new fans when he left everyday struggle and they followed him to the podcast

Every single big boom in viewers from the podcast has come from mainly him alone. Joe quitting everyday struggle brought in more viewers than anything else that the trio has done since they added Mal

this doesnt even need to be much of a debate
because Joe had them on and alot of the fans were begging for them to stay on. Some are even willing to pay for the patreon content just for them. The chemistry and dynamic works and thats all Joe really needs.

Joe was in the same position Rory and Mal was in but the difference is he had a strong case because him and AK made everyday struggle what it is. You could make a case they both deserve equity since the show was their idea and the value they brought in.
Even with that, he understood that he was an employee. It wasn't until he investigated and everyday struggle became one of the biggest hip hop platforms at the time that he saw his true worth
Joe left and tested that theory and he was correct. The numbers went down and sponsors backed out until eventually the show ended.
But Complex was within their right to deny him the numbers too because HE WAS AN EMPLOYEE.
He did the same thing with Spotify and guess what, it landed him an executive position at Patreon. He put in the work.
Mal and Rory can't do that. They don't bring what AK or Joe brought to Everyday Struggle. They overestimated their worth.
They tried to dip and found out they were easily replaceable.
Joe always said that he created everyday struggle. Then on the journey episode on patreon him and Ian said that Elliot Wilson called him with the idea of everyday struggle.
The JBP with Rory and Mal and Everyday struggle are the ONLY 2 good shows he “created”
And he admits Peter Rosenberg helped create the JBP.
Seems like to me you believe Joe is a genius and believe everything that comes out of his mouth.
Joe hasn’t shown the ability to create sustainable shows without Rory, Mal or AK.
The pull up is the only one but that’s just interviews so it’s guest based.

They don't. they were brought on as employees. The exact same way the host before them were and the same way as any of joe other employees like Savon or screen man. The only difference is they were hosts who worked for 28 hrs a week. Thats basically a part time job and they do nothing in terms of new business.
Does a CNN or Fox News host get ownership into the entire media company? The answer is no, However the can renegotiate their contract and request more pay and better positions. But ownership is out of the question.
