It seems calm. The view is obstructed by some buildings and you can barely see the riverbank, but you don't see or hear anything suspicious at first sight from your heightened position.

Kuniva digs in his bag "... yep! Gotcha!" he pulls out a bundled rope "Found it on the ship." he hands it over to Odeon "Dunno if it's long enough though..."
Odeon receives hemp rope (50ft length)
Just by looking at it you can say that it will probably only reach about 2/3ths of the way.@LuJo @Odeon @Ignance_ @barrymc

Yeah you could cast it while in the air so tempestuous magic activates close to the ground, so you can land safely afterwards. This would only lift you up though.
