Ellie calling the T Rex a "big boy" gotta be one of the most wholesome moments I've ever had in a video game

Those little moments stick with me, I love it when a video game nail those small details

End of chapter 6 already got me furious and I’m gladly willing for the rest of this game to go down like Manhunt. I want to murder every f\*\*\*ing body as relentlessly as I can.

    whose hating this game?

The more I wanted to hate the game I just couldn’t after beating it and watching everyone’s reactions I let a whole day to think and kept replaying these in my head ... there is legit way too many reasons why I ended up loving this game and at the end of the day a great second half/Companion piece to the first one

I actually quite like the game. Initial impressions are pretty good. And I say that as a very jaded person who hates almost all video games.

About 3 hours in so far and have enjoyed my time with it quite a lot. It does have problems, including some annoying, slow aspects that could be just trimmed out, but the main story, cutscene direction, and gameplay are all rather good.

I commend Naughty Dog for not falling into the Rockstar trap of making it hyper realistic to the point all characters move like tanks. All characters in the game are all decent at parkour and that is fine. It is fine because it is fun to jump across ledges and over fences etc. It doesn't have to be realistic at the expense of fun gameplay. The character movement, shooting mechanics etc are all good and entertaining to play with.

The game does suffer from the same thing the first game suffered from, though. The ''gameplay loop'' is very repetitive. It involves going into a room, clearing out all enemies, scavenging items, and then finding a window to crawl out of. Occasionally you have to find a crate to push over to the window to climb out of. Perhaps this changes later on in the game, but for the first 3 hours there was ALOT of this. that being said, whilst it is repetitive in the activity, the gameplay mechanics are very good, so that helps it out alot.

I am not sure what this ''SJW'' stuff is about either. I haven't noticed any 'pandering' in my 3 hours of playing it.

So yes, first impressions are decent. Don't know if I will feel this way after 30 hours, though. We shall see.

Man are are the people on Metacritic serious??? 12k plus negative reviews just because things didn’t go their way or because some of them are literally bigots 🤦🏽‍♂️

I’m torn apart seeing this game get discredited because of these people

No one is taking that seriously bro. In less than 24 hours had already more scores than god of war two years after it's release.

Oh yeah the story sucking has nothing to do with gay/trans anything, lmao, that’s just whiny snowflake bullshit tbh

Story sucking is definitely about the main conflict of the story and how they chose to set things off

Not again with this main conflict bullshit. C'mon you can do it.

Also, I'm convinced that the mainstream media kryptonite is risk-taking. That's why all superheroes movies are the same s***, over and over. Producers are aware of their audience.
