Abby is really likeable. Her fear of heights is so charming in an odd way. I actually find her more likeable than Ellie in this game but that’s the point. Her and Lev’s relationship obviously mirrors Joel’s and Ellie’s and it’s intentional. It gave her a great redemption arch. I’m at the part where Ellie is trying to track her down and Abby and Lev just got captured. So I think I’m nearly done.

I’m nearly done with the game but I’ve been playing it non stop all day and am exhausted.

I hope we get a DLC showing Tommy’s path to find Abby because from what we’ve seen as Ellie/Abby it was crazy as f\*\*\*.

Tommy has always been a character of interest for me and I hope that if we get a sequel they flesh him out more.

The ending and everything surrounding it was genuinely awful and I don't mean that lightly.

I can't believe a game this polished by developers this focused when it comes to delivering a well written narrative could fail so hard. No I'm not mad because it's bleak, so was the first one. But the entire ending act is so f***ing bad. I thought the worst naughty dog could possibly do is average but I really don't know how to express how disappointed I am in the writers for this. Jesus

Mechanically, this game is s masterclass. In terms of storytelling this straight up isn't worth carrying the same name as the first one.

EDIT: This is all just my opinion and but endgame left such an awful taste in my mouth. The game was going fine before that with a few hiccups, then it all went downhill. I'm genuinely in disbelief.
