Finished the game earlier this week and I can confidently say the game is a 9/10. An easy GOTY if nothing greater comes before the end of the year. Gameplay, sound design, and level design is amazing. The story is far more ambitious than the first and I welcome the flipping of roles. Extremely immersive game that only comes ones in a life time. Would love a DLC to wrap everything up or a part 3 in 5+ years.

I have it as GOTY as well but we'll see after Ghost of Tshushima
I had to buy a new tv just to play this.
Im thinking “man I know this tv was cheap but it can’t make the game look this bad”
But nah, it’s the film grain which you can’t turn off... I hope they patch that s***.
You can turn it off in photo mode but not in the actual game?
Haven’t had a game have this lasting of an impact on me since Witcher 3.
Might be my second favorite game of the generation tbh.
I think it and Witcher 3: Heart of Stone are the two best AAA stories of the generation, hands down. Only game in general I feel competes on a writing front is Disco Elysium.

Man is Witcher 3 really THAT good? I copped it for $15 a few months ago but only played for like an hour cuz I got busy with s*** and never went back. Maybe I should pick it back up then cuz I only hear good stuff about it.

Do. Its great. Its tough to get into at the start cause there's a lot of lore and a slow buildup. But you'll be hooked in no time, especially as one of the early main quests kicks off.

Nice will pick up God of War then.
So only thing I got spoiled on was Joel dying, which I already assumed it was gonna happen. It came earlier than I expected tho so I don’t have to anticipate it at least 😃. That PS4 trailer was confusing as f\*\*\* tho cus it implied that Joel was coming with her on the journey
Abby
I threw up at this post

Absolutely. It and both expansion packs (Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine) are all so consistent in quality it’s absurd.
Game is dark, emotional, incredibly well written and often hilarious.

You'll love it. I never played the other God of War games before and this game was so amazing

Lot's of things about it changed to screw with the player
