She overreacts and moans about everything
Everything has got to be melodramatic with Ellie. Abby just gets on with it like a real one. Ellie's mannerisms, the way she just randomly stops for a little sing song. It is cringe worthy. It is an angsty teen character.

Everything has got to be melodramatic with Ellie. Abby just gets on with it like a real one. Ellie's mannerisms, the way she just randomly stops for a little sing song. It is cringe worthy. It is an angsty teen character.
She is written/designed to be this way because she is a regular angsty teenager dealing with friends, a slight love triangle, jealousy and being gay but she’s put in crazy circumstances and on a revenge mission during all her regular feelings and experiences. Her angstyness also hits and works bc of how happy and weirdly cheerful she was in the first game, and now she’s a quiet, stubborn and angsty!
Real about Abby tho tbh she is tuff, and her melee and punch animations are so fire compared to joel and ellie

When Joel asked her why not just stop and just settle she answered that it can’t be for nothing. That’s how she felt and why she broke down when he told her the truth.
