Finished this a month ago and I can definitely say this is one of the best experiences I've ever had in a videogame. I still think about this game and the way it messed with me, the gameplay is sooooo much better than the first one in every aspect too. Masterpiece that some people will only recognize with time. 10/10

If one of them died them the whole point of the game would be missed. They lost everything they loved and thats worst than dying in this world, Ellie even lost his fingers and can't play the guitar that it's the only thing that connects her with Joel somehow. For me, the consequences for both acts makes total sense.

Even Druckmann said in a podcast that he admits the first game had a "cleaner story"...but I think part 2 had a much more fleshed out story and a much better one at making us feel for these characters choices and emotions through out the game.

I also appreciate that the story was completely different than what I thought it would be like. They coulda easily went the predictable way and give us a Ellie goes around to find the fireflies after learning Joel lied to her and s\*\*\* but they didn't and instead gave us a more mature storytelling about grief and revenge.

Also the gameplay is superior to the first in every way possible. This games takes "gaming" to a whole new level when considering the realism in graphics and combat. I think even everyone that didn't like the story can agree with this.

God of War was my fav game this generation, but after playing this, I gotta say this def takes the spot.

I feel you in the ending...but since I liked both Abby and Ellie in the end and didn't want any of them to die, I liked the ending. And loved that in the end Ellie literally lost everything and was forced to live her worst fear, which is to be alone, because she decided to seek revenge.

Gameplay on this is so much fun. Playing on hard

I feel like that hotline Miami Easter egg was intentional as a point of influence for the gameplay

S*** can feel similar with watching ammo and running and taking people down fast and s***
