People was telling me TLoU was the greatest game of all time, finally played it last year when it was free on PS+ and I didn’t feel that way at all. I enjoyed it but the story just wasn’t as great or emotional to me as people were saying

I couldn’t understand all the hate this game was getting till I got spoiled. I thought the first games biggest highlight was Joel and Ellies relationship, and you can’t experience all that unless you actually play the game.
The story is just another generic zombie story if you remove that element from it.
When I got spoiled I realised that people really just upset cause joel died, and probably the fact that its some generic revenge story plot. But the plot of TLoU one was also a generic ‘get immune person to hospital to find cure’ when you write it down on paper, when you play the game you realise that there’s more to it tho.
Idk man, I just really dislike people hating on games they never played

Like if you take the context out of TLoU it just doesn't sound like that good a game, you have to play it to understand how good it is.
So why are people that have played TLoU not taking this into consideration? From some of the s*** that I read it sounds like they never wanted to play the game in the first place

Loved last of us but after seeing the spoilers, f***ing scrap this whole game and give me another Uncharted. Story is a steaming pile of s*** and gameplay will be the only good thing about this game smh. And they really had to delay Ghost of Tsushima for this s*** show of a game. Honestly hope this game gets s***ted on for being the trash that it will be and not praised just because it's a ND game
