There might be valid criticism to be made regarding how the game handles its story, themes, and characters, but I'll play the complete product to find that out. It's just important to separate meaningful criticism from all that other bigoted garbage.

I’ve noticed that in nerd culture or whatever you can call them (because it goes beyond just video games) always expect things to be completely neutral socially and politically. Like take a video game like TLOU where the narrative is the main focus, who cares if there’s some sort of ‘agenda’ ? There are soooo many critically acclaimed films and literature that also do the exact same things.

I haven’t actively gone out of my way to see the spoilers, I just happened to come across them through some idiots on YouTube so idk what exactly was in the leaks for sure. Did the leaked cutscenes really only show just one major plot point? Cuz what I was hearing was that a lot of the game was leaked and a s*** ton of cutscenes and gameplay leaked as well.

Pretty much yeah, although that one plot point is pretty major to be fair. There was another cutscene that leaked in German that people twisted out of context and tried to claim it as the game's ending, but what people say happens in that cutscene also ended up being debunked by translation providing more context

The rest of the cutscenes are pretty much a few smaller character moments
