I want to see every single footstep from Boston to the end of the game. Give me the uncut however long it takes to walk from Boston to the final scene.

It was a good episode don’t get it twisted, but it wasn’t necessary to do 60 minutes on what basically amounted to a plot device to get Joel and Ellie some guns and a car (and explain the code system from earlier). It was also super, super unrealistic that they were only raided once in 10 years.

We only saw one. Doesn’t mean there weren’t more raids. Also it did more than get them guns and a car. It set up why Joel wants to get Ellie to the fireflies with the note.

Think the issue is people overthink this lol

Raided once I agree with . I think showing humans trying to have a relationship in a pandemic was cool . They weren’t going to show Joel and Tess 16 years or develop their relationship. I think things in the episode went too cliche in some ways but s*** made people cry so shrug

I do agree though

only one raid no ramifications or them coming to attack again after gas is out and getting in

- no attacking after they knew they damaged Bill

- only one shot lands and Frank tends to wound perfectly not shown

- disease that gives him full brain function but struggling motor functions til final day

But you give it to them . Joel and Ellie are going to be kind of numb or dull til they connect so showing a human story now even if sad breaks up that nihilism or hopelessness they have. Pilot and episode 2 felt too many plot points too fast . So this was cool

Only so much time left . Who or what else you think deserves an episode or a cold open

they said the fence would kill the rest and it showed them burning. There could’ve been more than one attack just not shown every single one as it would’ve been pointless the message of the episode. Don’t really get the complaint of his disease.
