I am the furthest thing from a Joeler lol I thought he deserved to die end of game 1\. Viewed end of game 1 like he has Ellie hostage and basically just sees sarah. Lol I had a dark view of game 1 . Felt like Ellie even if she never figured out this lie if she wanted to go out on her own or grow up he wouldn't let her . I really viewed the ending of 1 as he snapped entirely not a loving father figure or hero like most
