oh yeah I wanted an actual discussion about it I wasn't trolling. I would say often they each have something they do well but fail majorly in another way. S*** I saw Doom in theaters release weekend. I have seen gaming movies and tv shows. I have seen anime adaptations. Lack of effort in some way isn't a curse its just a lack of effort, funds, vision or collaboration

The same reason Sam Raimi Last of Us was cancelled the studio was like "bigger and sexier" like World War Z? Is there a book curse because world war z was dogshit or did the studio focus on money over the actual story

Uncharted movie definitely had some effort put in besides for bad casting

Mortal Kombat- I work at the studio that makes the games and Ed Boon has openly said the studio didn't listen to him for many decisions

Warcraft- Adapting a MMO into a movie is a terrible idea out right thats not a curse

Need for Speed- its a game about racing cars there is no mainline story that different from Fast and furious
