He lead to the damnation of all of humanity. Fireflies, anyone who believed in a cure would want him dead is the logic I am going off of. He would be known for his name. S\*\*\* if the Hospital has cameras or any survivors his face too. His name would forever have that attached to it and to me there would be no logical reason to ever go by the name Joel again except with Ellie. If he can lie to Ellie for years about the entire incident why would lying about his name for protection from his past actions in anyway affect his mental? I am asking genuinely. Although again I don't care about Joel dying I think as I have made clear he deserved to die. I do understand gamers who think how he died could have been executed differently but I liked the level of surprise they had. Will they do it the same in the show who knows

again I agree lol . I think they would benefit a lot from showing some of the time between game 1 and 2\. Because I know why they didn't gameplay wise because its not action but on a human level. Essentially move some of the Joel and Ellie Flashbacks they had throughout the game to the beginning of season 2\.
