This episode was Bella’s best performance so far, really feel like she’s in the pocket of who her Ellie is here.

Shows not awful, yet. Approaching mid tho. The changes are a bit too heavy handed ATM, but also like it's the pacing for me.
The game is 16 hours to complete. That's enough to flesh out a 12 banger. Instead they try to condense it into 9 episodes while adding new, superfluous BS.
Like soccer mom Kathleen, don't matter how many Twitter threads from people trying to shame me for not being interested in her or scared of her. I knew she was dead the minute she lost her brother.
It's at the point that you know a mfer gone show up for 1 episode, do some wild s***, then get murked before the end of the episode so who gives af about any character.
How could the population be supported when anyone who does anything of note gets fragged within minutes of doing the thing lmao.
We're at 5 episodes in and everything is happening to fast to care about their bond or any outside character especially when you know if they have any emotional scene, they're dead.
Some of the foreshadowing too heavy handed and Kathleen was mid but this was one of the better episodes

Episode 4 and 5 they shined the most. Episode 1-3 was tutorial and set up to deliver the hits later in the season.

To be fair if FKA Groovy hasn't played the game I do get the idea of "characters introduced then die quickly after emotional moment" but it appears they have lol. Kathleen wasn't hitting for me and Just felt like an unnecessary Abby preview and Ellie preview but it is what it is.

I think Sam and Henry , Bill and Frank performances and connections were just so good that out of all connections Joel and Ellie so far feel the weakest of the 3 connections . But thats partially because those actors put in work also their material was better because they had less time. Not sure if @rise_zero feels the same or where their head is at. But
I believe episode 6 we can get Joel Ellie time that catches it up some . Yes I know "this is the game" again having that beginning where joel and ellie are more hostile to each other than the game lead to some game players being like why
