Meant to reply to Kroniic . In terms of matrix though the games are canon but reveal different parts of the world. Builds out the world . I don’t know if milking the best word but trying to get to game 2 season 2 when there is an entire gap of story like that feels rushed in the sense of last of us 1 to 2 was like a 7 year real life gap of never thinking it would have a sequel then getting it and being shocked . If you drop a season 2 like 2 years after season 1 I don’t see many moments hitting as hard based again on time spent with the characters. Again the general audience reaction to this one will be interesting . I just think of 28 days later

That’s why I want another season before they do game 2 so Joel’s death hurts more. don’t know if it’ll be the same for people who never played the games and only see him for one season
