On topic though will Ellie be the most violent child in television history season 2 ? I wonder how people will take that . Cause often we don’t have children in media being that hyper violent
well if season 2 is game 2, ellie wont be a child

Didn’t see her as a child anymore tbh

Oh true she 19 . Part of why they definitely may need a break after season 1 and 2 cause she won’t look aged up enough if they rush it

I get what you saying but even 19 that’s a lot especially for a woman character . Of course yes it’s survival but will be interesting
I'm a check this show out. The trailer alone got me very interested.
Did you ever play the game?

Nope. I'm going into this entire thing blind lol
This is the type of genre of show that I typically love to watch anyways though, so this shouldn't be too much foreign territory for me.

You seen 28 days later ?
You seen 28 days later ?
Yup, seen "28 Days Later" and "28 Weeks Later". Both excellent movies.
I wouldn't be mad at all if they made a third one.

I was trying to gauge . Your reaction to show will be most interesting in this thread
The Last of Us doesn’t merely fulfill the promise of elevated survival horror, but it also does a trick that HBO seems to regularly pull off: Just when you think you know exactly what the show is, there’s an episode that rises well above expectation. In this case, this head-turning hour arrives early, with its third episode. No spoilers, but it involves a fan-favorite character from the game — a hard-core survivalist named Bill (Nick Offerman) — and some radical changes to the game’s story that will shock and perhaps challenge fans.
The deviation won’t be the show’s last, but overall the series is highly faithful to the game, with much of the dialogue intact and many familiar settings rendered precisely into reality.
What could the change be?
Where's this paragraph from?
they made him straight.

not sure i care for a whole episode to devoted to bill unless he's going to be a part of the show in a large way
like, i don't need the whole backstory with him and his partner.

lol thats why a lot of the game story may not translate exactly for me
Wait is the story told from the perspective of Joel? Like does he narrate or is it clear to non players that he is the main character so he talks or remarks to himself/ Ellie often?

yeah just keep bill a minor character. especially because they might do a whole episode dedicated to left behind stuff too.

Paint the walls is crazy

Imagine thinking they not going to go in on those parts. I am just thinking the amount of time certain characters and story points breathe both literally and metaphorically will make their deaths, lives and story points hit entirely differently. I think at least one situation they need to keep a character or characters alive longer than the game or kill characters that weren't killed in the game. Do a fake out to some degree.
Watchmen was a situation of a literal pull from comic ( besides ending which snyder some what ruined) but when you change mediums it didn't hit for many reasons. So I get some of that apprehension here too
Paint the walls is crazy
LOL
My point being is I am not the bullshit gamers "this the gay agenda". I just think any part of this show or apocalypse or most series focusing on love stories just doesnt work for me. S*** can be straight , gay, pansexual it dont matter the writing in most love stories be it no way home spider man trilogy, Walking Dead or others often doesn't work for me. Like its just difficult to write but then in an apocalyptic situation often hard to take serious when there are greater woes.
But I am a jaded nigga. Love and relationships is just hard to write unless you doing flashbacks to when humanity was normal. Leftovers does it well though. S*** some of LOST does too.
