I see there's a timeskip where Ellie is older in the second game. How are they gonna keep this girl for the role? She looks way too young
kroniic is the most sensitive op on this site, u would think he wrote and directed this show
@Kr0niic …Neil??
its only game 1 coming to pc unfortunately
Have no idea how to feel about TLOU2 since ive unironically never heard criticism about it that wasnt rooted in transphobia
Thats not to say if its good or not its just most of the things i heard about it was in bad faith

She's 19 irl. They age her down for the show. She still does look young, but you could easily just time skip 1 or 2 years. Or age her up a bit. She won't get any taller but don't think that matters much. I am curious as to how they handle that and a lot of other things for season 2

I loved the 2nd game but there is valid criticism of the game out there. It kinda sucks the leaker robbed us of any real discussion about the game cause those gamers are still crying about it and never played it
On episode 5
I don’t like the rebel leader lady she’s such a b****. She was definitely an elementary school teacher before the pandemic

height gonna be the biggest thing for me
ellie in the game looks lanky in part 2. i don't think its that big of a deal but still
are you the one who used to post these tumblr gifs on ktt1 got thread? making me nostalgic
Episode 5 did the saddest chapter of the game some justice I guess
The game did it better but not mad at this, I still felt all the despair
This all Kathleen b**** ass fault!!!!! All that vindictiveness got my niggas killed, but it also got her whole army killed

Jesus
I definitely understand this critique. But I think fans of the game just gotta accept that Craig and Neil are intentionally telling the story at a completely different pace than the game
Craig seems like he wasn’t too interested in making big action set pieces, and instead wants to magnify the emotional aspects of the game
A lot of fans won’t like that, but we just gotta get used to it lol

Even those who never played the game complain about it. I got my homie who's never played the TLOU series and is just interested in the show so I always ask for his opinion after each episode since he knows nothing about the story and he thinks it's soooo overly dramatic like there's stuff going on with the story but they tell it and move on immediately like it's filler just to focus on the drama aspect and how sad the characters feel. He's normally not one to complain about pacing but I agree with him.
I've played the games, all the thrill that was in the Bill arc and the first bloater u encounter, the ambush with joel and ellie in the car, Sam and Joel getting stuck in that little school bunker while zombies attack them...why cut ALL of that like at least keep one event and tell it like it is then cut the others....
Even when a bloater appeared in the show they made it appear for like 10 secs and vanish... why are you undermining the major moments in the game??? Like "oh yeah here's that part yall loved, anyway let's move on now" Then you get 10 minutes of Ellie questioning the world or some s*** for dramatic effect. It feels like they never watched the show while making it.
When the episode with the ambush came on I was like oh s*** it's GOTTA BE heating up then I was left with the biggest blue balls, same s*** with the bloater, same s*** with Kathleen... Something is wrong and I'm sure it ain't the budget.

Like I said, it’s clear Craig wasn’t interested in adapting the big action set pieces. He cares more about how the characters are feeling in that moment rather than the actual action itself. The show is fueled by emotion
But the show still must be good enough for your friend if he is still sticking around and watching every week
Waking up happy knowing tlou on hbo is 6/6
