Can’t be true
We got work to do
I liked this episode better than 2 and 4
Bellas surprising me and Pedros disappointing me
feel like Pedro just doesn't have a lot to work with. he's playing the stern authority figure who's lost everything and now shows no emotion and is reluctant to connect with people
a role we've seen many times before so his only growth is slowly growing attached to Ellie and starting to laugh at her jokes
just not a very interesting character imo, not a lot for Pedro to sink his teeth into compared to Bella

Pedro carries the show tf y’all on
I hope next season has no action. Not a single scene of action. Just straight talking. F*** this thread!
This is coming to an end soon.
Man if only Hogwarts Legacy game came out a few yrs ago maybe HBO would have the show ready and locked and loaded to hit us right after Last of Us
I’d rather watch Succession

First episode I thought was kinda meh
How this didn't have at least 10 episodes is beyond me
Those episode lengths are basically ten episodes it’s just the longer episodes being in the front rather than back
How this didn't have at least 10 episodes is beyond me
It was 10 episodes
Production was always for 10 episodes
Just post production they cut episodes 1 and 2 into 1 episode
This is the 10 episode cut… just in 9 episodes
I liked this episode better than 2 and 4
cause when 2 and 4 dropped we heard “ this best episode yet “ . Especially 2. 4 always been a 2 parter to me so
Did y’all even like the dlc
Episode was the most game accurate episode so far. And the most divisive

You are a show only watcher so I got to ask did it feel redundant after episode 3 more eloquently showed a similar love story ?

That stoicness and traumatized will connect with some people and others not . I wouldn’t say carry so much cause Velma/!: supporting cast all balance show

No point in typing 3 paragraphs because all they will grasp out of this is “ Pedro is bad “ . They don’t have reading comprehension to actually read the words and sentences . I get what you mean and I have been saying it. He is limited to truly express because that is how his character is supposed to be due to trauma , death , grieving , stoicness , violence. We have seen him open up in recent episodes after balancing with Sam and Henry . But he has a mainly old bearded violent man grumpy season which as you’ve said we have seen before many times so it’s limited material wise but so far when he does have more emotive human material he has done well . Nothing groundbreaking yet but well. Tommy Joel scene highlight and balance with contractors joke
But there is no point in typing all that here they just think it’s hate and will reply with one sentence don’t waste your time

I get that it's kind of Ellie's "sliding doors" moment with this whole other path laid out in front of her and a chance encounter leads her to being humanity's only hope. I learned about her past but I don't feel like I learned anything new about the character

To me ( I started dlc and didn’t finish ) this came off as similar to episode 3 with less time to cook , later in season , momentum changer . I thought it was good but episode 3 made it feel more redundant

No idea what you’re even trying to cook. Wasn’t similar to 3 at all except gay
This is a homophobic post
