Zach LaBeamI get that it's kind of Ellie's "sliding doors" moment with this whole other path laid out in front of her and a chance encounter leads her to being humanity's only hope. I learned about her past but I don't feel like I learned anything new about the character
I was expecting her mom , birth scene and Marlene to squeeze into this episode but I guess soon . Her being a trouble maker at fedra and asking to hold a gun wasn’t new enough yet

I’m also confused on the point of the pipe bomb break up moment. It too felt like it ate up time . I don’t know if it was trying to foreshadow ending of you won’t be able to stop the pipe bomb or procedure because will or fireflies but feel that slowed momentum episode had
