Shouldn’t filming of this go by faster than Season One given that they won’t be filming in continuity with actual seasons (ie summer, fall, winter and spring)?

I am partially joking but also them fast tracking to new content I am good on. Late 2024 is the earliest I would want this to drop either way. Also Factions and potential last of us 3 announcement. A slight delay would lead to not over saturation

to put it simply writers are on strike but I think when the strike does end they will come back stronger than going non stop. Which often leads to better writing.. Which in my opinion lead to our tv golden age that got us to this streaming level. Post 2008 writers strike once it wrapped up we eventually hit a golden age.

I just hope Naughty Dog can start feeding fans with Factions and announcing TLOU 3 or new IP

It really helps that they’re gonna split the second game into two seasons, by the time a 4th season comes out we could have our hands on Part III

Writing was great throughout the 2000s because creatives had more say back then in their output

With how corporate everything has gotten, 99% of screenplays could be created by an AI. These modern day writers are deplorable and that’s in part due to how producers/executives have removed the artistry in filmmaking. I really don’t think this strike is going to have any real effect on the quality of todays movies, which have never been worse.

Even with this show, the writing was pretty bad outside of a couple episodes considering how excellent the game is.

Even if there was no strike with actors schedules , production, writing and filming the continue fear of “ what of it overlaps the games” was really nonsensical

I mean, as far as we know The Last of Us Pt. III isn’t even in pre-production.
