Bella is cast as Ellie and that’s just what it is . We all knew they wouldn’t look much different than they did in season 1, as long as Bella can act older that’s all that matters

Tbh I feel like Bella could potentially do better at playing an older Ellie than they did as kid Ellie .
When an older actor has to act as a child, there’s a lot they have to do in order to be convincing as a kid . They have to actively try and act as immature as possible

But Ellie in this new season should almost be the exact age of Bella in real life, so their portrayal should feel much more natural and organic this time around
