Idk it just seems weird that the game is basically gonna be a 50/50 split between ellie and abby
just give her a chance. after 3 days if you dont like abby or feel her actions are not justified thats a discussion for another day
Am I the only one that actually really enjoyed the second half and Abby’s character arc?

Nah tbh when she went to the Seraphites island might’ve been my favorite section. Even the bridge part and hospital parts

nope. my favorite parts of the game were in abbys part
I liked Yara and Lev more than I liked abby. That's what really made her story worth it for me. Abby was a little too straight edge for me to like her like ellie
Ellie was cool af during Santa Barbra scenes. Love the scene with her getting bit and confronting Logic’s character
Lev kinda remind anyone else of aang from tla?
A little except Aang was happier. Both cocky and confident. Enjoyed his character especially when he started using the f*** word
the perspective that abby's already accomplished the revenge ellie's out to get, and is struggling to come to terms with it
as well as her growth with lev mirroring that of joel's journey with ellie, makes me come around to it a bit more
i still don't understand why make us play as her in the beginning and the shift of characters feels very abrupt
but the more i think abt it the more im like yeah theres no easy way to balance all of that with gameplay and restructure it all in a way that makes more sense
I find it interesting that the end of TLOU 2 is the inverse of TLOU.
Joel does something selfish and in return ends up with the person he loves.
Ellie does something selfless for someone to be with the person they love only to result in her being alone.

I enjoyed Abby’s half of the game more in all honesty. She is a great character
such a crazy twist that ellie knew the entire time, it adds more and more layers as you play and see the flashbacks
so joel died without telling her? -> so joel died thinking ellie hated her? -> so they were just now reconnecting...
it makes it more believable that she'd be this violent mess with all the closure she was robbed of on top of everything else
the only portion of the game i'm not crazy about is the whole burning village sequence, feels like something out of uncharted
Kinda disappointed we don't learn more about the scar lady and how the whole cult started

Ellie was originally supposed to go to the island (as well as many other segments that were in Abby’s story), I presume we would’ve learned a lot more about them if that had been the case
Just finished this b****.
Edit: how abby get the best boss enemy in the game though wow
Wow, just finished the game
im mostly pissed at how underused jeffrey wright was
mostly satisfied with ellies arc (scene at the end with joel got me) but I still think the abby sections were too long and felt unnecessary
I loved Abby's section a good deal, especially after the ending.
If the game made me kill Ellie, I would have fully been on board with the hate, but instead we get an ending that arguably is even better than the first. That s*** was so therapeutic, beautiful, haunting, and depressing all in one. It was emotionally one of the best endings I have ever seen.
I will say my one nitpick is I wish we got more time with Ellie's character especially after that huge Abby stretch, but Abby is the reason why this story ends up being as great as it is. She is the key.
