that's what the creators are trying to do. the problem is that people who arent neutral, are biased towards Ellie, see that as the creators going to extents that aren't in her character to make Abby look better

and that's probably true to an extent too. If Ellie handled it like some noblewoman, then there'd be no way to see her and Abby as moral equals

I feel like they keep it kinda even in terms of powers with Abby having to experience way harder enemies, and not being given auto shivs, but her guns are goated.

maybe Dina and Ellie get back together but just speculation. point of ending is Ellie lost more of herself and connections to others from her obsession over revenge. empty home, losing her fingers, leaving the guitar + all other belongings are the physical manifestations of that.

Ellie could be on her way to Jackson to make things right with Dina but it’s not part of this games story.
