Don't know why I used to hesitate saying this, but The Leftovers may very well be the greatest show of all time. Period. Finale (series in general) really hit different now that I'm not in HS and have gone thru life for better or for worse, which I'm not trying to get into atm since it'll be at risk of spoiling themes and symbolisms to others. It's layered, you'll get what you seek. Either way, I'm much more appreciative of the show today than I was when I first started watching it in my early teens

Anyway y'all peep how the departure or departed might've been a reaction caused by individuals (Nora, lady with her baby in the backseat) wanting them to be gone/left alone (or in Kevin's case, his guilt, in engaging with the stranger chick) prior to the event, hence why, the Guilty Remnant are so adamant to remember.
