It's a perfectly cromulent narrative. Drake went into this beef with very clear angles to be attacked. He's up there with Meek as the most clowned rapper of his generation. It's just been drowned out by the overwhelming love from fans. There's a reason all these temperate lyricists keep going at his head. There's a reason the money hits the streets for info. The info asymmetry once Drake is involved in anything is crazy lopsided.

Even if you look at the ktt2 beef thread, I am pretty sure that until the drop of Euphoria, the overwhelming majority was on Drake's side. I really remember only like three dudes really fighting for Kendrick until Euphoria. And even with Euphoria, it was pretty even. The tide shifted somewhere along the whole 6:16 to Family Matters to MTG sequence.
